About the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League

The League is affiliated to the Gloucestershire FA and has two Divisions.

In the structure of the Football Pyramid, the League is one tier below the Gloucestershire County League and has three feeder Leagues of its own, these being the Cheltenham, North Gloucestershire and Stroud Leagues. Member Clubs are all located within a 50 mile radius of the centre of Gloucester.

The League was founded in 1922 and has been providing competitive football at Senior Amateur level in the County of Gloucestershire ever since.

The League season runs from the second Wednesday in August until the following April.  The season begins with the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Cup, which is played for the Reg Davis Memorial Trophy.  League matches traditionally start on the Saturday of the August Bank Holiday weekend.

The League makes extensive use of the FA's Full-Time facility, for administering its fixtures and recording its results. This can be accessed by clicking on the Full-Time logo featured below.  Instructions on how to best use the League's Full-Time facility to obtain the information required can be found on the relevant pages of this web-site.
